What could be more beautiful than a view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower? Going up the Eiffel is somewhat of a ritual when visiting Paris, but the view from the Montparnasse Tower, one of the tallest structures in Europe, is truly breathtaking.
Additionally, there are no queues, and the cost of the tickets has been reduced. We advise going to the Montparnasse Tower at night since the view of the Paris skyline with all the flashing lights is breathtaking.
- The Louvre at Night
You might feel a little miffed after spending hours waiting to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre. We don’t blame you; the crowds can be a little depressing.
When the crowds have scattered out at night, return to the Louvre’s front if you want to fall in love with it. Never more than a dozen individuals are present, particularly in the winter. Take a romantic walk while listening to cellists and violists performing on the Louvre’s grounds, or press your nose against its famed pyramid for a peek inside.

While talking about abandoned railroad tracks, if you enjoy your cities with a healthy dose of quirk, you must see the tracks of La Petite Ceinture. They are situated in the 11th arrondissement, a small distance from the city’s center. Unfortunately, the orbital railway has been abandoned since 1934, and today its walls are covered in graffiti while overgrown weeds and vibrant blooms encircle its tracks.

Even though thousands of people are on the Eiffel Tower grounds, some other towers or terraces are famous for viewing the Eiffel Tower. The terrace of Saint Jacques Tower and the Bir Hakeim Bridge are excellent locations to see the Eiffel Tower in all its magnificence without being mobbed by hordes of onlookers. However, the Haussman Buildings near Passy Village are our favorite location. Again, there aren’t any people around, so just bring food or beverage and sit back to watch the sunset over the Eiffel Tower.
